At Neocean^©, protecting the ocean environment is what drives every action we take and each commitment we make. As everyone knows, immense preservation efforts will be needed to protect our oceans from the many threats it currently faces. Stepping up to make those efforts is our duty to future generations. This is especially true for ecosystems located close to coastlines, which are most heavily impacted by human activity. In the past 40 years, underwater noise along the Mediterranean coast has increased by a factor of 100, and the sea floor has lost much of its population. It’s critical that we make our boats and watercraft less noisy and less polluting. Today, we know that an effectively protected marine reserve allows fish and invertebrate species to regenerate in just a few years. In addition, oceans and seas offer helpful solutions and valuable resources in a wide variety of situations to help prevent, reduce and offset some of the many enormous challenges that are continuing to grow as our planet heats up: droughts, wildfires, food supply problems, and more. In the boating sector and as a watercraft manufacturer, Neocean© has a duty to develop boats that are respectful of the environment, so that innovation and protection of the ocean environment are not in contradiction.
